Change your Perspective
My name is Charlie
I created Summit Perspectives Coaching to coach women and LGBTQ+ leaders who want to overcome imposter experience, so they can lead with greater confidence and authenticity, building more effective teams as a result.
Background and Ethos
I am a compassionate and people-focused learning & organisational development leader, with experience in the public, higher education and charity sectors. This followed a huge leap and complete career change, away from my former role as primary teacher and school leadership & management team member.
My teaching, training and people development background means I am a committed believer that there is always something to learn. I like to work with clients who share this ethos and are prepared to put in the work to learn more about themselves and achieve sustainable personal growth.
Who have I helped?
This is a taste of some of my coachees:
Interim CEO and Director of Consultancy (Charity Sector)
Deputy CEO (Scottish Government)
Managing Director (Care Sector)
Assistant Director of Professional Service; Senior Academics (Russell Group University)
Matron; Nurse Educators; Senior Learning & Development Facilitator (NHS)
Clinical Apprenticeships Lead; Assistant Service Manager; Senior Manager, Pharmacy (NHS)
‘Charlie was great at bringing out of me realisations and appreciations of things I had, over time, perhaps forgotten. She also helped me link imposter syndrome to general wellbeing which was a real lightbulb moment and something I hope to move forward positively from.’ (Public Sector leader)
How do I work?
Coaching is a space where I will support you to generate your own insights and change through deep listening, asking thoughtful questions, and challenging you where your own beliefs or behaviours are holding you back. My job isn’t to give you advice or tell you the answers.
I work using a Clean coaching style. Clients say I am present, curious, and demonstrate ‘understated empathy.’ As a gay woman, I provide a safe and non-judgemental coaching space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and women experiencing imposter syndrome.
When I work with clients, I take a person-centred approach, drawing on Nancy Kline’s Thinking Environment philosophy, surfacing and challenging limiting assumptions; as well as transactional analysis and other frameworks to help clients understand themselves and their relationships better.
Alongside confidence building and leadership identity, I can help clients in leadership roles with problem-solving, career or role transitions, challenging conversations, and leading change.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
I offer a free initial 30 minute chemistry session to all prospective clients. This is an opportunity to connect, discuss your hopes and goals for coaching, and share more about how I work. There is no obligation to take things further.
Please reach out to set up your chemistry and discovery chat:
